Today we look at how to install Timeshift on Ubuntu 18.10. This method works great on any Ubuntu based distro, but if you look at the official site, link below it is pretty easy to install on any Linux based distro. Since Linux Mint 18.3 Timeshift came into the spotlight with lots of improvements. Timeshift is not a backup tool, it is a system restore tool. It is similar to the Windows Restore Points. So if your system gets messed up, you can just restore to a point where everything worked correctly. It does not touch your files or folders so it is not a backup solution by default for your data, but none the less it is an awesome tool which is needed on every system.
