Linux Mint 19.1 is out and it rounds off a wonderful year for Linux Mint. Linux Mint went to a different level this year with optional automatically updates, perfectionist system restore points and this release produced a modern desktop environment that looks and works great! Cinnamon uses the most resources of the 3 releases with just less than 1GB of ram when idling, MATE uses about 700mb and XFCE about 400mb.
