Today we are looking at how to install LibreOffice on Elementary OS 0.4 Loki. We will firstly look at the method, as shown in the video, and then at an alternative way via a PPA which will always give you the latest version via System Updates.
Commands Used:
1) Download from the website, as seen in the video:
Command Used:
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
Download Link:
https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/
2) As PPA:
sudo apt install software-properties-common
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa
sudo apt-get install libreoffice
About PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ubuntu/ppa
