Today we are looking at Linux Mint 19.2 Beta, the MATE edition. It comes with Linux Kernel 4.15, based on Ubuntu 18.04 (supported until April 2023) and MATE 1.22. It uses about 700B of Ram when idling.
Linux Mint 19.2 feels for me more, like a maintenance update, to make it even more stable, but it has improvements in the automatic updates as well as a whole heap of new beautiful backgrounds. Enjoy!
Ps. Note to myself, do not lock your screen when installing applications, bad idea :)
