Today we are looking at how to upgrade to KDE Plasma 5.17 to the soon to be released, today actually, Kubuntu 19.10. Kubuntu 19.10 comes with Plasma 5.16.5 as Plasma 17 has only been released a few days ago. Luckily it is very easy to upgrade to it. As seen in the video, a person runs the commands below in a terminal and then reboot your system. Enjoy!
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
sudo apt dist-upgrade
