Today we are looking at how to install Minecraft Forge on Linux Mint 19.3. It is quite a process, but we hope that our two guides will help you!
We start the process by installing Minecraft, download link below, and then install it with Gdebi, build-in on Linux Mint, or you can use any other .deb package installer.
Then we open Minecraft and close it again so that Minecraft can create hidden folders that are required to install Forge.
Now, we download Minecraft Forge, set the permissions of the package to executable, as seen in the videos.
Then we right-click on the package, and install it with Java (Java will be there as we install Java when we are installing Minecraft), also as seen in the video and then a person launches it through Minecraft! Enjoy!
