How to install Gimp 2.10.8 and the Heal Selection plugin on a Chromebook

Today we are looking at how to install Gimp 2.10.8 and it's plugins which include the heal selection plugin on a Chromebook.  Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

Please take note that with the release of Chrome OS 90,  the location of Linux Apps has been changed in the Chromebook’s settings.  Have a look at this tutorial, to see how to turn on Linux apps and then continue with the installation tutorial.
Commands Used:
1) sudo  apt update
2) sudo apt install gimp python2.7 python python-cairo python-gobject-2 gimp-plugin-registry
3) wget http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/p/pygtk/python-gtk2_2.24.0-5.1ubuntu2_amd64.deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/g/gimp/gimp-python_2.10.8-2_amd64.deb
4) sudo dpkg -i python-gtk2_2.24.0-6_amd64.deb gimp-python_2.10.8-2_amd64.deb

Ps.  I removed the * in the fourth command, it is not needed,  but also won't do any harm.  I forgot to remove it while creating the commands for the tutorial.
