Update: There is no longer a separate Linux installer for Crab Game. Please follow our revised tutorial:
Today we are looking at how to install Crab Game by Dani on a Chromebook. Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.
This tutorial will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel or AMD CPU (with Linux Apps Support) and not those with an ARM64 architecture CPU.
If you have any questions, please contact us via a YouTube comment and we would be happy to assist you!
Dani moved the Linux installer into Steam, so we no longer have to download and install the Linux version from itch. We can just download and install Steam, as seen in the video, And launch Crab game via steam.
I would recommend that you enable the 3 settings in Google Chrome, as at the beginning of the video to improve the performance of the game, and only run the commands which are in bold below.
If you want a revised tutorial, let me know in Youtube!
