How to install PlayOnLinux on a Chromebook in 2022

Today we are looking at how to install PlayOnLinux on a Chromebook in 2022.  Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

This tutorial will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel or AMD CPU (with Linux Apps Support) and not those with an ARM64 architecture CPU.

Please take note that not all Windows applications work on PlayOnLinux but many do.

Commands Used:
1) sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
2) sudo apt update
3) sudo apt install wine wine32 libgl1-mesa-glx:i386 libgl1-mesa-dri:i386 p7zip-full netcat gettext python binutils cabextract icoutils imagemagick jq mesa-utils python3-natsort python3-wxgtk4.0
4) wget http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/pool/contrib/p/playonlinux/playonlinux_4.3.4-2_all.deb
5) sudo dpkg -i playonlinux_4.3.4-2_all.deb
