Today we are looking at how to install Minecraft Pocket Edition with keyboard controls on a Chromebook. Please follow the video/audio guide as a tutorial where we explain the process step by step and use the commands below.

Please take note that this will only install the launcher you need to own the game, you can buy it on an Android device on the same Google account
Please take note that this is an unofficial launcher of Minecraft Bedrock.
Also, take note that after login into your Google account, you might be notified of a Samsung Galaxy S8 login. The developer, not me, of the Minecraft Bedrock, explains it here. It is nothing to be afraid of as you can see in the link below.

1) sudo apt update

3) sudo flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
4) sudo flatpak install flathub io.mrarm.mcpelauncher
5) sudo chown root:root /usr/bin/bwrap && sudo chmod u+s /usr/bin/bwrap
