  1. Thanks for this tutorial. I recently traded my aging Surface Pro 6 for a 2 in 1 Chromebook Plus, since most of my usage is web based. I figured I could do a lot with the $1200 difference. However, Cura is the one program that I did still use on my Windows machine. The instructions and video were easy to follow and I've successfully installed Cura. One question about the GUI to add the launcher to the menu. Is there a way to replace the penguin icon with the actual Cura logo?

  2. Hey great guide, but can you make an updated version for cura 5.8.0? I tried just following these instructions but downloading the 5.8.0 version but after showing the loading screen the actual UI won't open. Following the steps again but for 5.6.0 still works so I don't think its an issue on my end. Thanks!
